These terms are an agreement between you and EML Live for using emllive.com and the EML Live app. By using them, you agree to these terms. Questions: hello@emllive.com.

It's a beta

EML Live is still being built. Features may change, break or go away, and we may reset test data. Thanks for helping us make it better.

Safety comes first: not for navigation

Lake levels, depth shading, shallow-water areas, hazards, weather and bite reports are for general information only. They can be wrong, late or incomplete, and the lake bottom changes. Don't use EML Live for navigation. Always use your own judgment, charts, depth finder and local knowledge, wear a life jacket and follow Texas boating law. You are responsible for your own safety and your boat.

Follow the rules on the water

Spot info, rules and fees come from public sources and can change. You're responsible for having the right fishing license, following Texas Parks and Wildlife regulations and limits, paying any marina or park fees, and staying off private property unless you have permission.

What you post

• You own your posts and photos. By posting, you give EML Live permission to show, store and share them in the app, on emllive.com and in EML Live social posts and reports (with your handle), and to resize or crop them.
• Only post things that are yours and true. Don't post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, spammy, or that shares someone else's private info.
• Don't post private docks, private property or spots you don't have permission to share.
• We can hide or remove any post and suspend accounts that break these rules. Posts reported by several people may hide automatically until reviewed.

Founding members and plans

The beta is free. Founding member perks and paid plans will be described when they launch, and we'll never charge you without asking first.

No warranty

EML Live is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, EML Live and the people who run it aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any damage, injury or loss from relying on information in the app, including lake level, depth, hazard or fishing info.

Ending use

You can stop using EML Live at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms or misuses the service.

Texas law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and email founding members about big changes. Using EML Live after an update means you accept it.
